We had such a great experience at Pakaoma Thai-Lao Diner! The food was fresh, flavorful, and you can really tell they focus on authentic Thai and Lao cuisine. Every dish we ordered was packed with bold flavors, but the Jumbo Papaya Salad Platter was definitely the highlight—it was perfect for sharing and came with so much variety. The Chicken Satay, Crispy Calamari, Mok Pla, and Crab Fried Rice were all delicious, and the Thai Iced Tea was the perfect way to finish the meal. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly throughout our visit. I also appreciated that they offer gluten-free and vegetarian-friendly options, making it easy for everyone to find something they’ll enjoy. If you’re looking for authentic Thai and Lao food in the Bay Area, I definitely recommend giving Pakaoma Thai-Lao Diner a try!

This place is a clear winner. We stopped by and had the fried clear rice roll wrap, Lao sausage, green curry with beef, and barbecue pork. All were amazing, and the jaew sauce that came with them enhanced the dish. We were disappointed to be too full to try dessert. Next time for sure. We will absolutely be back. Update: we went back a few days later and had another large meal.

Restaurant has been opened for a year or so, and we just discovered this wonderful place. Food quality was great, and they serve lunch combo where you can have a small appetizer to go with the entree (and a drink at a small extra cost). Would recommend anyone to come try the authentic Thai / Lao food here.

My order was beef jerky with sticky rice. The beef jerky was thin slices and deep fried. It pretty tough to eat. Most of beef jerky I had, it is thicker. The sticky rice was good. My friends like their orders of drunken noodle and egg plants with tofu. The service was good and the server was friendly. I would recommend to get other items on the Menu. They do have parking lot.

Great lunch special deal, drink, appetizer, entrée, for around $20. I got the Thai fish cake and pumpkin curry with chicken, big portions with authentic flavor. I will definitely come back again.
