this place has been special for my family. i moved to livermore about 10 years ago, and since then this chuck e. cheese has been a place where my kids have made great memories. this time, my 9-year-old chose to come here with his brother to celebrate his birthday and have dinner. i ordered pizza combos, a salad, and two one-hour play passes. however, the food took more than 45 minutes to come out, and i noticed other guests were also complaining about the wait. what was more surprising is that shortly after, they announced they were closing. i later realized that on fridays they close later, but still, the way it was handled didn’t feel right. right at closing time, they began shutting everything down quickly, almost as if telling everyone it was time to leave immediately. i understand that staff have schedules and closing procedures, but the experience felt rushed and impacted the overall service. my recommendation is to avoid going within the last hour before closing, as the customer service during that time may not reflect the quality you would expect. we’ve had great experiences here before, which is why this visit was disappointing. i hope this was just a one-time situation.

This Chuck E. Cheese is fantastic! We attended a birthday party here about six months ago and were impressed by how organized and stress-free everything was. After that experience, we decided to book our daughter’s birthday party here, and it was every bit as convenient and well-structured as we had hoped. One thing I really appreciate is the child check-in/check-out system at the front—it gives parents extra peace of mind. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive. I especially want to recognize Lorenzo, who has helped us on multiple visits. He is incredibly kind, professional, and always goes out of his way to make sure we have everything we need. I’d also like to give a shout-out to one of the managers (I unfortunately don’t know her name) with platinum blonde hair. She is always welcoming, checks in on guests, and helps create such a positive atmosphere. Great customer service can make all the difference, and this team does an amazing job. We always enjoy our visits and highly recommend this location for family fun and birthday parties!

This is my favorite Chuck E. Cheese to go to. Miss Rebecca and her staff are amazing. I love her manager, Tiara. She’s amazing. She always make sure that the kids are safe. She always makes sure that the customers are happy and even under pressure she gets the job done.

The Chuck E. Cheese in Hayward has more games and a trampoline, better prizes, and the mouse comes out all the time.

We threw our daughter’s birthday party here today and I honestly cannot rave enough about how much we loved it. This is not the Chuck E. Cheese from the early 90s — they have completely cleaned it up and modernized the experience. We had a large party and booked the Mega Package, which was absolutely worth the price. The biggest reason is because it includes so much and I barely had to do anything — I just had to provide a headcount and choose what I wanted to order. Everything else was handled for us. The dedicated party hosts were incredibly kind, organized, and professional, and made the entire event run smoothly from start to finish. We truly didn’t have to stress about anything. We added on the Adventure Zone, and the kids loved using the trampolines — such a great way for them to burn energy. It was $10 per kid, but worth it. We also ordered the birthday cake through them, added extra pizzas (the BBQ chicken and supreme are highly recommended), and those cookie pizzas were delicious. It really was a one-stop shop, which made the entire day seamless and enjoyable for both kids and parents. If you’re on the fence about hosting a birthday party here, don’t be — it was a smooth, fun, and surprisingly great experience. We’d absolutely do it again. Keep in mind: if you or a family member have a fun pass, then it saves costs on the additional food! Just can’t use it on the birthday packages.
