Amazing, Authentic South Indian Food! We had been seeing this place from the outside for a while since it’s right next to my son’s martial arts center. We first gave it a try with a quick to-go order of mini idlis and sambar, and our kids absolutely loved it! After a recent road trip, we decided to stop in for a full sit-down lunch, and the food completely blew us away. The main manager here is incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the whole dining experience feel warm and welcoming. Here is what we tried: - Special Rava Masala Onion Chili Dosa: I ordered this, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had! The potato masala filling was prepared to perfection. The dosa comes with amazing chutneys—coconut, peanut, and tomato—plus a fantastic sambar that ties the whole dish together. - Chili Onion Uttapam: My son got this and loved it. They serve two medium-sized uttapams, which makes for a very generous and satisfying portion. - Raga Dosa: My wife tried this option, but found it to be just okay compared to the other dishes, so we’ll probably skip this specific one next time. If you are looking for amazing South Indian food, we definitely recommend Madras Idli Kadai. We are so glad we finally sat down for a meal and will certainly be back!

If you’re craving authentic South Indian comfort food, Madras Idli Kadai is such a solid spot! I recently tried their Mushroom Masala Dosa, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly crisp on the outside with a flavorful, well-spiced mushroom filling that felt both hearty and comforting. The dosa had that ideal golden texture that makes every bite satisfying. The Milk Ghee Nalla Karam Podi Idli was a standout for me. Soft, fluffy idlis drenched in ghee and coated with that spicy, aromatic karam podi — simple, yet incredibly rich in flavor. It’s the kind of dish that instantly transports you to South India. I also tried their Sweet Pongal, and it was just perfect — warm, comforting, and beautifully balanced with ghee, jaggery, and that subtle hint of cardamom. It felt like a true festive treat! And of course, you can’t skip their Filter Coffee — strong, smooth, and perfectly balanced. It tied the whole meal together beautifully.

I ordered a Rava Masala Dosa and it was very nicely done crisp and masala on the side. I absolutely loved it and will have more items. The service is courteous and they also always smile and ask if u want anything more Chutneys have good selection and sambhar is also good with free refills that they continously serve u.

I recently tried South Indian food for the very first time, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was! 😋 I wasn’t sure what to order, so I picked three different dishes, and I ended up loving two of them. Their coconut dip was incredibly tasty, and the carrot pudding was a nice, sweet finish to the meal. Overall, a great first experience. I’d definitely come back to try more!

The food was great as it was made fresh. But the quality could be better. We ordered Vada first, which was freshly made but it was not crunchy. The core felt like it was a little undercooked. The masala dosa itself missed a flavor , not the masala. The Onion Rava dosa was good. Anyway I feel there are good areas of improvement. We will visit again.
