Today is Sunday and I decided to have ice cream at Niles down in Fremont. When I walked in, it was small and the seating area is kind of mediocre. I think that’s why people prefer not to dine indoors based on what I saw. Ice cream comes in many flavors. When I wanted vanilla ice cream, I don’t see it from the display section. So I had to ask and it seemed that some of the ice cream that are available are at the other end of the counter when she scooped it. Vanilla is a very popular ice cream and I think that it’s better to be displayed and ones that are underrated should be at the other side. The ice cream is very good though! It’s slightly expensive though. They also sell other desserts like cookies and cupcakes, but all I’m here is the ice cream. I’ll be trying other flavors when I return especially Ube haha

Nice little ice cream shop with a decent amount of options. I got a Brownie Sundae and it was delicious~ Portion size was also decent and was filling. Will definitely be coming here again!

Niles ice cream is amazing ,delicious and outstanding.I got a double scoop vanilla and chocolate waffle cone .It was brilliant .fantastic and fast service .I didn't have to wait long at all fory sweet treat. It's near by my job and not far away at all .A+ service .the ice cream makers were nice n took my order .They had a variety of flavors that I was looking at .I saw Cookie dough ,pecan,strawberry and neopolitan.

My go to ice cream shop in the East Bay. Nothing fancy, but classic. Favorite flavor is the tin roof sundae.

Has an old town ice cream shop vibe with the brick building location. Ice cream was just ok. Of the 4 flavors I've tried, mango was the best and Ube is the one to skip. Mango reminds me of milder mango lassi. The cherry vanilla tasted like maraschino cherries. The chocolate is just as expected and so similar to grocery store chocolate ice cream. Good portion for the $5.50 for single size. Nice staff. They allow flavor sampling. Outdoor seating. Street parking available.
