They lost this customer. They had done some general work on a few of my vehicles and was satisfied so when I needed exhaust repair on my jeep I thought they would be a good choice. It was repaired right before a big trip i had planned. I wish I had crawled under to inspect work but I trusted them night I go to load jeep on trailer the "exhaust hanger" I asked them to fix, they just bugger welded a rod to the frame and it fell off letting the exhaust rub front driveshaft. And the section on downtube i asked to repair looks worse than my welds. Since I was leaving on trip I didn't have time to get them to fix, my dad welded it when I got to his place. So bummed they lost my confidence, they were nice and reasonable priced, but this workmanship is unacceptable.

Very happy with my recent service at the Bonney Lake Midas! Took my car in for a new serpentine belt, oil change, and tire rotation. Marcos was so friendly and helpful. All staff I interacted with were kind and welcoming. Service was efficient and affordable, and it’s great having them close to home. We will come back for more maintenance work in the future. Thank you all!

*Updated Review The owner called me the next business day and apologized for the work and offered a refund without me asking for it. While I am still disappointed in the service received and will leave my original review below, I think the owner is a good guy who cares about their business and customer experience and a bad service performed by a handful of employees should not be a permanent mistake for any company. *Original Review This is the first google review I have ever given, but I am hoping this will help save people from needlessly spending money on useless auto work. I took a 2012 Tundra for a pre purchase inspection at the Bonney Lake Midas last week. It took the shop about two hours after my scheduled appointment to even look at the truck due to the team being short staffed. That’s no problem to me, I understand being short staffed and has nothing to do with this review. However, the problem is when they actually looked at the truck, they mabye spent 20 minutes or so actually inspecting the vehicle. Once they were done, the service advisor told me the brakes were at their end of life and the front struts were leaking and the quote provided to me just replace the brakes on all 4 tires would be almost $4,000 not including the struts. I did end up purchasing the vehicle and the dealership I bought it from did their own inspection when they received it and reported the brake pads at 50% and no issues with struts. After I bought it, I then brought it home and took off a tire to look at brakes and struts and saw no issues. I even took it to my local Les Schwab for a brake/strut inspection and they reported no issues with the struts and the pads still had about 50% life left, just like the dealership reported. I am disappointed I paid $225 for an “inspection” that as a customer felt very lazy and aimed to maximum profit by advising customers to have parts replaced when not needed. I can only imagine how many people fall victim to this financial trap. Below are photos of the brake pads, one from the front left tire and the other of the rear left. You can clearly see there is plenty of life on these pads still. Always get a second opinion if a shop provides you information that can cost you thousands to have repaired before necessary.

Jesse and his teamat this location in Bellingham WA, on Guide Meridian St was awesome and very honest with what issues I had going on, on my vehicle. He was also kind enough to install my new wheels and tires I had orders online and just charged me labor costs. I'd give more stars if I could. :)

1 star being generous! Kid at the counter was very nice but couldn't answer a question without his "managers input" whom walk by me at least twice after waiting 20-30 minutes for him while he was test driving and not acknowledging me what so ever. I could tell he was annoyed that someone needed something small done so he had the kid quote me 460.00 to add a 3inch piece to my exhaust on a 1993 jeep wrangler. If you don't want the work then don't make appointments on the phone and waste people's time!! You obviously quoted it because you didn't want to deal with it. I'm a mechanic as well.. this was at best a 1 hour job and probably the easiest thing you would have done all day. You think your shop time is 460 per hour? And you didn't even look at the project ..didn't give a rats ass that I left and you had 8 bays with only 1 car in the shop??? Horrible , I'll never go back
