If you're wandering around Escondido looking for a proper Irish pub, stop wandering—your luck has already changed. I popped into O'Sullivan's Irish Pub, met the owner, and she was as warm and welcoming as a fire on a rainy day in Dublin. The food was absolutely fabulous, and I have to give a standing ovation to the lobster bisque. Sweet mercy... if that soup were any better, it'd probably qualify for Irish citizenship! The atmosphere was full of laughs, good people, and enough charm to make you think a leprechaun was hiding behind the bar guarding the secret recipes. Whether you're after a pint, a great meal, or just a place where you'll leave smiling, O'Sullivan's delivers. I'd come back in a heartbeat... or at least as fast as an Irishman chasing the last pour of Guinness. Sláinte!

Sam was an excellent bar tender and server. He was the only one working upfront but he waitwd on us quickly. I liked the Guinness stew but my husband didn't. He did say the Guinness was as good as any he's tasted in the us. It has a nice atmosphere. Good air conditioning. It was 97 degrees out. I even liked the music on the radio. My husband was disappointed that they didn't serve real chips with the fish and chips, just skinny American fries. I had an enjoyable time.

Busy on a Friday night, but server Anna was great. Ordered Shepherd's Pie and a Guinness. Could have had some more veggies in it, but still tasty. Maybe too picky, but it was made with ground beef - a Shepherd's Pie is made with lamb. With beef, it's a Cottage Pie. But I'd still go back.

This is my third visit. The food here is excellent. Guinness Beef Stew is hearty, flavorful, and just a cup is filling as a meal. Rueben sandwich is great. Shepherds pie is also very good. Drinks good of course, though the iced tea was a bit bitter. However, I don't think anyone comes to an Irish pub for iced tea. 😎 Service has been excellent each visit, and I have to say, Escondido is doing a fab job of revitalizing down town Grand. Lots of cool shops and great walking stretches. Saturday evening we sat out on the patio, a beautiful cool afternoon, a great meal, great service, and a lovely time. Affordable as well. Really like this spot, highly recommend for a good, homemade meal.

A good small Irish pub. Arrived on a Saturday morning at 11am. I had the all day Irish breakfast which was good. A little pricey at $25 but everywhere has gone up. My girlfriend had the curried fries and the curry sauce was great. The Bartender didn't know what a Guinness and black was and they had no liquid lime juice for a in style lager and lime. Overall it is what you would expect from an Irish bar. Probably busy when they have a band on.
