I like to shop at Ace Hardware in Elk Grove because they still have good customer care. I can ask questions and I get the correct answers. I can find an employee working on the sales floor easily when I need help. The prices at Ace Hardware are comparable to the big box stores with good customer service.

Awesome staff and excellent service. The folks here are mostly longtime employees with lots of knowledge to help with whatever projects you are working on. This place is a throwback to a time when folks enjoyed helping others. Peace and blessings to the entire staff.

Mangment is so rude Manager and lady with grey hair need a attitude adjustment sold me a key that wasnt working for my car then said they couldn't do a cash refund as they were counting the safe money on the counter, I feel bad for the people that have to work under them. Lost a customer for life at least while that manager is in charge.

Stopped by to get a replacement cooking grate for my weber. There was only one so I put it in hold since I didn't have my coupon handy. Came back about 90 minutes later and it was gone. No apology, just, "oh, she's new" from the manager. Too bad. Trying to support the local business, and you get the business.

Very disappointing experience at this Ace Hardware. The customer service was poor, and I experienced subtle but clear microaggressions from staff that made me feel unwelcome and dismissed. Everyone deserves respectful treatment, and that wasn’t the case here. I asked a simple question about propane exchanges and the employee was acting rude. He shouldn’t be working in Elk Grove if he has a problem with people that don’t look like him.
