I visited Sweathouz on 3/17 hoping for a peaceful and relaxing experience while grieving the recent passing of my mom. Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk made an already difficult time even worse. This was actually one of my favorite places to come and relax, and I had referred plenty of people there over time, including some who even became members. That’s part of why this experience was so disappointing and upsetting to me. The employee at reception was rude, dismissive, and overly pushy about selling additional services after I clearly stated multiple times that I only wanted the suite prepared and to charge the card (which is what they usually do) for my guest. Instead of listening, he continued pressuring me, widening his eyes, stating it's $30 multiple times, which made the interaction uncomfortable and stressful. I also explained to him that my mom had just passed away and that I simply wanted to relax and to stop the sales talk, but he continued with the sales pressure anyway. When I asked for his name because of how rude and dismissive he was being, he responded with “Bob” in a sarcastic, attitude-filled manner. What was also concerning was that he appeared to provide a false name when asked. Professionalism, empathy, and honesty matter — especially in wellness spaces where people come to decompress or heal. To make matters worse, I was told today by another staff member, Avery, that I was no longer allowed to return to Sweathouz Daly City. I genuinely do not understand this, considering I was the customer who experienced the poor treatment, disrespect, and lack of professionalism in the first place. I came in looking for peace and left feeling upset and disappointed. Dwayne the owner left me a message in March but I never received a call back. I understand he is busy and helping other sweathouz brances but it would be great to receive a call back. I left a message for him today, 5/26/26 because I would like to hear an explanation on what the ban was about. I hope management takes customer experience and staff conduct more seriously moving forward.

This is a great investment in health and well being. The suites are clean, well maintained and private. The cold plunge is amazing and provides a much needed shock to the body. You can chrome-cast your own music in the suites and make the experience totally yours. The staff are kind, professional and very accommodating and welcoming. The reservation system through the app is simple and easy to work with. I highly recommend SWTHZ to all.

A friend recently told me how much she loved trying Contrast Therapy at SweatHouz in Daly City and asked if I'd like to go with her. I said yes, not really knowing what I was getting myself into! She booked the appointment, and only then did I read about it. I'll admit—I was nervous. I love a good spa day, but I wasn't so sure about red light therapy and especially the cold plunge. Well...I LOVED IT! I was honestly shocked by how much I enjoyed the experience. Before I left, they asked if I wanted to book another appointment. I told them I wanted to wait a few days to see how I felt first. Wow! I had so much energy afterward. I cleaned the house, worked in the yard, even gave the dog a bath—and I still felt energized three days later. Even more amazing, I have a bad left knee that usually bothers me, but for those three days after my session, I had no pain at all. After just one visit, I was so impressed that I went back and bought a package. Thank you, SweatHouz Daly City! I can't wait for my next session!

I have been a member using SWTHZ on the monthly plan where i can use it everyday. So i have visited the place at least 4 times a week over the last 10 months. One thing that sticks out is the cleaniness of the rooms. I have been in those rooms like its my own house and i have yet to find a hair or the room being dirty once. Great job by the cleaning staff. In regards the the front area staff, they are amazing. They know me by name and always greet with a smile. Julie and San do a great job. I was hooked on the place after my 1st session to try it out, and since going there, my blood pressure is down and my legs and knees dont ache as bad as they use to. Keep up the great work staff at the SWTHZ Colma.

Every night when I clock out of work, I always look forward to ending it with SWTHZ. I love my hour in my private suite. I absolutely need that infrared sauna and cold plunge to decompress. It also helps that the front desk lady Sann is very warm and helpful. She will go through hell and back to make sure your hour is comfortable. Daly City SWTHZ, wouldn’t be the same without her. Shout out to the staff for holding it down. I absolutely recommend you treat yourself to an unlimited membership!
