Cons: We stayed here for $498 for 2 nights. I expected much better room quality. You can tell these use to be deluxe suites of some sort but missing all the amenities. Awkward gap under sink in “kitchen” but no microwave, dishwasher, or fridge (there is a mini fridge under the tv?). Big gaps on all those spaces. A bunch of cabinets completely empty wasting room space. Beds are essentially springs with sheets, very, very uncomfortable. Pillows feel like the ones from the hospital so I recommend you bring your own. The sheets, comforter, and pillowcases are all very cheap polyester. There is quite a large gap under the door and I can see the hall light through it at night. There is a fair amount of hard water buildup in the shower but the tubs and toilets were all clean. Pros: Front desk staff are very accommodating, and nice. Rooms are relatively clean, and sheets all clean and fresh. Location is fairly good, I disagree with it being “sketchy” as others state. I felt safe. You could stay at the motel 6 in 29 palms for a 3rd of the price for the quality of room though.

Beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast options were limited but there was enough variety that everyone in my family found something to eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet and the pool was empty.

Note that it is NOT a hot breakfast as others have mentioned. Very sparse and not a lot of protein offered. It's not located in a bad location, but not a great one either. The room itself was spacious, not a lot of furnishings (we had a King). We stayed 3 nights and the last 2 we needed new key cards to get into our room. Staff weren't apologetic and couldn't tell us why. The staff didn't seem to care too much about us. We did have housekeeping come in and leave towels on top of our belongings on the sink counter rather than on the designated shelf or other side of counter both of which were empty. Love Hilton - but don't think I will use a Spark location again.

The room was HUGE and the hotel is closer to the military base than Palm Springs. That’s it for the good part. There’s a kitchen area with empty cupboard space and a sink, but no cups, no coffee maker, no ice bucket…nothing. There was a small fridge under the TV. Housekeeping is supposed to show up every other day. They showed up zero days. Breakfast was typical continental with extremely limited fresh options (apple or orange for fruit). That was day 1 of our stay. We were here for 5 nights. The other days we were at brkfst by 8am, there was no coffee, the counters where food was, messy and unkempt and the food had not been restocked. For example, one morning there were 2 yogurts in the fridge and no milk. I couldn’t tell you where the staff was because they weren’t there. The elevator, in the separate building where our room was, very sketchy. The door would close, we’d push the button, it wouldn’t move. We opted for the stairs even if it did work after that. The amount of points (we are Diamond members) spent on this location was ridiculous for the level of care and quality received, or rather, NOT received. The next time we are in this area, our son is stationed at 29 Palms, we will make the drive and stay in Palm Springs, perhaps with a different hotel chain altogether.

I realized within 30 minutes of checking out of the property that i accidentally left behind a large toiletry kit containing valuables like a retainer and other necessary medical items. The very apathetic and disinterested front desk said nothing was left behind and the cleaners most likely threw it in the garbage. I had called quickly enough to intercept, and it really felt like both the cleaning staff and front desk really didn’t care. Additionally, the fact that the unit was cleaned that quickly and item simply discarded looks bad on the cleanliness, lack of detail orientation, and carelessness of management and the staff.
