As someone who's pretty particular about my vehicles, I don't trust just anyone to work on my Toyota Land Cruiser. It's a well-maintained off-road build that's seen plenty of adventures, so finding a shop that pays attention to the details is important to me. The team at Shannon Family Automotive has earned my trust. They're honest, knowledgeable, and always take the time to explain what they're doing without trying to sell me services I don't need. The work is consistently high quality, communication is excellent, and they treat my Land Cruiser like it's their own. It's refreshing to find an independent shop that genuinely cares about its customers and takes pride in its work. I highly recommend Shannon Family Automotive to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy service.

I’ve been going here for over 4 years now, I consistently refer people to Shannon. They are kind, honest, and respectful. I feel heard and all my vehicle issues (including non-Toyota vehicles) are always addressed. I’ll be returning in the future for general maintenance and repairs. 10/10 recommend their service!

From the moment I called in to book my appointment, to the morning my overly~frazzled, ADHD self barely blew its way into the (surprisingly calm & inviting) doors of Shannon Family Auto on time…I was immediately greeted by Shane & his warm smile, who kindly took down all 3,721 of my scrambled, rookie~mom brain’s, semi-car related(?) notes with pure professionalism ~you would honestly be hard pressed to find anywhere else! Not only did Shane provide absolute proficiency, his thoroughness to relay all my concerns with the technician addressing my Chevy were not only completed, but handed back, bow~tied with thoughtfulness! (Which, after reading additional reviews, looks to be amazingly standard at SFA…something I have never experienced at an auto shop before!) Hopefully Shane & Shannon Auto won’t regret this lol, but your shop officially has a new family (of vehicles) you’re now “stuck” with servicing after the superb maintenance & care you all provided! Thank you, again, for making car maintenance such a smooth & sweet process for once in this middle age woman’s life! Cannot recommend Shannon Family Automotive more! :)

We had an outstanding experience with Shannon Family Automotive. They truly stepped up for us after another shop completely botched repairs on my son’s Lexus. They took the time to thoroughly diagnose what went wrong, document the issues, and help us hold the previous shop accountable. That level of professionalism and integrity is rare. Most recently, they also worked on his Infiniti and once again delivered top-notch service — clear communication, honest recommendations, and fair pricing. It’s hard to find a shop you can genuinely trust, especially with higher-end vehicles. These guys earned our business by doing things the right way. If you’re in Folsom and want straight answers and quality work, this is the place to go.
