First I'd like to say there are a lot of things I like about eureka natural foods. Mostly the folks that work there. They have a great meat counter even though I like a lot of things there these days its pricey and I understand why that is. And they have some great things in their deli department. But this is about their hot food bar that I went to for breakfast the other morning. First it's 12.99 a pound so I grabbed a small cardboard container scooped up some reconstituted scrambled eggs with vegetables in it one biscuit a little bit of gravy and two small sausage links. This came to $9.20 at the checkout clerk agreed its way overpriced. I even noticed products that you can get down the street at other stores are much higher at eureka natural foods. Will I go back yes and part of that's the people and part of it is because they do have unique items. But I won't buy from the food bar anymore.

5 Stars – A Local Treasure for Healthy Living Eureka Natural Foods is my go-to for fresh, high-quality organic produce, bulk goods, and specialty health products. They have an incredible selection of seasonal produce — always fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. From local farm-fresh fruits and vegetables to hard-to-find supplements and gourmet pantry staples, the variety here is outstanding. I always stop by the coffee bar for quality organic ingredients. Today I had a matcha latte with a shot of espresso (a dirty matcha) and it was absolutely perfect — smooth, energizing, and made with care. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. I appreciate their commitment to supporting local farmers and sustainable practices. The store is clean, well-organized, and makes healthy shopping a pleasure. A must-visit for anyone who values great food and great service.

For me, Eureka Natural Foods is the best little organic supermarket in whole Eureka. The main competitors are North Coast Co-op and Murphy's Market. The store is clean, staff is very friendly, and there are lots of parking lots available. I love the local produce area where you can buy soaps, honey, wife, sweets. The organic section is great, and the products are high quality. Both the bread and cheese are is very good too. Note that, this supermarket is a little more expensive than the other supermarkets in the region. That said, I highly recommend it.

This was my first time back to Eureka natrual foods in a year or so and it was the last time I will ever go again. I walked in got a small basket sized cart and placed my large tote purse and my canvas shopping bag. I proceeded to the vitamin isle, grabbed a few things and placed them in my canvas shopping bag. Pretty quickly the woman working those isle's came up to me and politely let me know that I can't place items in my shopping bag. I apologized, told her I wasn't aware of the policy and removed the few items I had placed in my canvas bag. Honestly that was totally chill and fine. A couple minutes later a worker came up to me and said the owner was watching me through the cameras and that I can't do that, I tried to calming explain that I had already talked to another employee and emptied the contents of my bag. She was also rude and didn't seem to care that someone had already let me know and at that point there wasn't anything on my shopping bag. Honestly if I hadn't really needed to purchase the things I went in for I would have just left. Unbelievable, I don't want to be made to feel like a criminal when I'm grocery shopping. The co-op has never had a problem with the way I shop so I will continue to support the North Coast Co-op!!!! @northcoastcoop

Awesome selection of organic products! I have bought the biggest, hugest seeded watermelon I have ever seen in my life, along with several other melons. They were excellent, deliciously sweet, the best quality I have purchased in a long time. They have lots of fresh produce, locally roasted coffee beans, wine, just about everything organic. Prices are very good, especially for the organic quality. The store is nice and clean, well organized. I used to like Good Earth in the Bay area, but have to say Eureka Natural Foods is just as good if not better! The prices are certainly lower.Definitely stop by if you have a chance.
