I found this place in the list of nearby restaurants in my Maps app while I was in the area and I'm glad it was at the top of the list. I split their fig and goat cheese flatbread and a grilled chicken Caesar salad with my daughter and we were both smiling from our happy tummies. 😁 I'm looking forward to the next time I'm near Dana Point so I can try more of their menu.

I really like this place, it's got a great atmosphere. Plenty of seating and a vibey patio with fire elements. The food is fantastic, we got a brisket grilled cheese that was absolutely fire with the added BBQ sauce. Also can't go wrong with the sample platter, it's a lot of food so don't be surprised if you end up with leftovers. And last but not least you've got a great selection of craft beer both local and some unique stuff on top as well.

Food: Extremely greasy, fried, and oily. Very much bar food. If that is your thing, you will probably enjoy it. If you are looking for healthier options, freshness, or food with more refined flavor and quality ingredients, this likely will not be the place for you. Dana Point unfortunately has a fairly low bar for what gets labeled “good food,” so I would keep expectations realistic. Service: Service itself is decent. The staff is generally friendly and works hard, especially during busy Friday and Saturday nights when the venue becomes packed and lines get long. During peak hours, it is easy for items or requests to get missed. One odd aspect is that guests fetch their own water using worn plastic cups, so the experience feels more like partial service than full sit down dining. Atmosphere: The restaurant does offer a nice variety of indoor and outdoor seating, including several dog friendly tables, which is appreciated. The biggest downside is the parking situation. The popularity of the restaurant regularly overwhelms the shared lot and makes parking difficult for nearby businesses and visitors.

The food here is fantastic. Wide beer selection feom various breweries. They also have seltzer, kombucha, and various cocktails. The vibes are especially on point. We were especially happy to learn tonight they do not allow dogs on all of the patio. There is a specific section for dogs, but the rest of the patio is blissfully free of animals while you enjoy the delicious bites. A wonderful restaurant with a chill vibe and great food.
