I'm someone who needs guidance when working out. I never had success going to a standard gym, because I lacked the structure and discipline to go in and give myself a solid workout. At Orangetheory, I have everything I need. A structured workout, and motivating coach. Everytime I leave, I feel like I got my butt kicked, but am better for it. I'm appreciative for the coaches taking the time to stop and help my form. Yes, it's more expensive than a standard gym. But in my head, I had a gym pass for years and MAYBE went a handful of times. Basically throwing money away. With Orangetheory, I'm getting what I paid for, and I WANT to go. Thank you Orangetheory for helping me stay motivated in my fitness era! 🧡💪

Orangetheory Cypress is an incredible studio with a supportive and motivating atmosphere. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your fitness goals. Their high-energy workouts are challenging but scalable, making them great for all fitness levels. I’ve lost 70 pounds with their program, and the combination of strength, endurance, and interval training has kept me engaged and constantly improving. The coaches do a fantastic job of pushing you while ensuring proper form and safety. If you’re looking for a results-driven workout with an encouraging community, this is the place to be!

Working out at Orangetheory in Cypress is fun. The coaches each bring their own unique coaching style, which adds variety and keeps the classes engaging and fresh. The sales associates in the front are so friendly and helpful. They always give me a bandaid or hair tie when I need one. They play such great lobby music. The studio itself has such a nice layout with lots of space and I love that there is lots of parking in front of the building.

I had a very disappointing experience at this OTF (9/23/25 - 5:30pm PT class). I specifically asked to start on the rowers, the staff confirmed, and I was told “#9.” I sat down and began rowing for a few minutes before the truth came out — the staff had mistakenly logged me for a treadmill instead of a rower. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. But how they’re handled matters. In this case, the staff chose the easy way out — throwing me not under the bus, but in this case, onto the treadmill. I didn’t argue in front of the class because I didn’t want to cause a scene, but it was embarrassing and humiliating to be the one penalized for an error I did not make. I was already there first on the rowing machine, and the staff thought the best course of action was to shoo me away like I was trespassing. In what world is it acceptable to treat a paying customer like this? Apparently, the “fair solution” here was to play a round of musical chairs: fitness edition. Everyone scrambles, no one knows what they're doing, someone gets bumped, and big surprise — it’s me. If that’s the new workout routine, at least give me credit for the extra cardio from moving over to the treadmill. I'm so glad I paid OTF a small fortune to get a good workout in, only to be treated like some sort of rowing squatter. And honestly — what happens next time? Do I need to stand at the front desk and double or maybe even triple check the assignment sheet before class? Or maybe I should just ask the staff to hand over the clipboard so I can do their job for them and personally verify my spot? That’s not exactly the kind of “premium fitness experience” I thought I was paying for. Situations like this make me question how this gym is run. If something as simple as equipment assignments can’t be handled with fairness and professionalism, what does that say about the bigger picture of customer care? Overall, this gym is excellent, but this incident has left a bitter taste in my mouth. Why was I singled out to move even though I was there first? Why didn’t the staff tell the other customer that a mistake had been made, and the rower was no longer available? It leaves me questioning whether there was bias or favoritism involved. Then again, I could be wrong and maybe the staff simply lacks training and accountability. Regardless, something about how all of this was handled definitely did not feel right. I really do hope this was a one-off and no other customers get treated like this. Unless management addresses how staff can be trained to resolve these types of conflicts properly, I cannot recommend this location.
