The atmosphere was beautiful, with a very aesthetically pleasing design that made the entire experience enjoyable from the moment we walked in. What really made the evening stand out was the service from the bartender, John. He was charismatic, friendly, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. His recommendations were excellent, and everything he suggested exceeded our expectations. The drinks were crafted perfectly, and his attention to detail and customer service made a great experience even better. I highly recommend stopping by and, if you can, asking for John. He truly helped make our visit memorable

Stopped in at Social in Costa Mesa while spending a weekend down in Orange County, and I’m so glad we did. I’d heard great things from friends, and this place definitely didn’t disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing, the atmosphere was spot-on, and the service was just as good. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived—probably because it’s Christmas season and everyone’s out shopping—so we got in right before the lunch crowd. I heard it was packed the night before, and I can see why. Everything we tried was top-notch.

I came here, thinking it was what it used to look like . Honestly, I don’t really say this, but I would not go here. The service was the slowest I’ve experienced in a while. There was two people working the whole place and honestly the bartender was just talking with someone at the bar and God knows when you were gonna get whatever you wanted. She also had no sense of urgency so, I think it took an hour for us to get one drink and an appetizer of fries and close out. However, the fries were actually pretty good so maybe get fries to go.

I took my friend here over the weekend for brunch. My expectations were more than met! Our server Gabriel had such good presence, took great care of us, and listening to his recommendations on dishes was very well worth it. My friend had the breakfast burrito and loved it, I had the chilaquiles. They were divine; I highly recommend adding their carnitas. It was tender and flavorful. I would love to revisit Social when I’m back down there.
