I can’t say enough good things about Cooper Alley. I left feeling genuinely taken care of and special—something that’s so rare to find. The atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming, but what really stands out is the level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail from the team. My hair looks amazing and I feel so incredibly special. Five stars, always.

I got my highlights done by Alex. Right from scheduling the appointment, the process was smooth! I get my highlights done very often, but this was hands down the best experience I had. The changing stations and the salon itself were super clean. Alex was very understanding about what I wanted. She knew what she was doing. After bleaching my hair, she kept checking on me every 10 mins and washed the sections of my hair, which were done, and let the other sections dry. Although the color was a little different from what I wanted (Auburn), Alex assured me it would be alright after 1 or 2 washes. Right from the beginning I felt very welcoming. I would definitely come back!

Rick Cooper is a master — he listens, truly hears you, and delivers exactly what you want, exceeding every expectation. The best cut, the best color, and I leave looking 10 years younger. Sitting in his chair with a cup of coffee, I can relax knowing I’m in the hands of the best. Worth every mile from Malibu to Marin. Makes my day!

Rick and his team are truly magicians - brilliant designers progressing in international reputation and towards mastering their technique (not for the glory of it- folks here seem to be genuinely DEVOTED to excellence). My family and I have been loyal clients for years and every visit reminds us why. Rick- the founder- is a true master of his craft, and what makes him stand out even more is how generously he shares his knowledge with his team. I genuinely trust anyone on Rick’s team with my hair - a level of confidence I’ve never had elsewhere. What surprised me most is how this place changed my thinking: a haircut isn’t a commodity. You don’t get the same result just by describing what you want. Skill matters. And here, the skill is unmatched. Even other stylists have complimented Rick’s work - that alone says everything. No review can really capture it. You just have to go and experience it for yourself!
