I had positive experiences at first but things changed. Late 2025 I got a root canal done and the “specialist” did not finish it & the reason he gave me was “I don’t want you to be tired” & he went on to the next patient. He took half the nerves out of my tooth and stuffed it with temporary feeling. The next appointment was a month later and the temporary feeling has my tooth deteriorated. I now go to a new dentist and will have to get an extraction or the root canal redone. Not even my new dentist specialist can understand why the root canal wasn’t done in one appointment. This has now caused further issues with the tooth. Please make sure specialist know what they’re doing because nobody will be able to help you once certain things happen. They also will know you have an infection on your teeth(MULTIPLE) & will not tell you but constantly try to get medi-cal to approve root canals.

This place is the worst I went for a dental checkup about six months ago they took the x rays etc I ask them to do the most needed work but they insisted on doing some other cosmetics works that I. Don't need now I gave them a down-payment for 450.00 Dollars so they can start the treatment Now they refuse to give my money ey back And they haven't done any work I don't recommend this place at all

Dr.Sewell and staff are professional in every sense of the word. They made me feel at home right from the start. It felt like i had been a patient with them for years. Dr. Sewell help me with the prefect reasonable treatment plan for my jaw birth-deft that i have been searching for over 15years. Dr. Sewell is not about robbing my pocket but the health concerns of my current mouth condition journey iv been on for a long time. This dental office has a family like environment feeling that I’ve not experienced in any other dental office thus far. Lastly what i love love love most about Smiles West is that its a rap around meaning most everything on my treatment plan specialty and all will be done in this office ie, SRP, Braces, Specialty extraction and more no need for referrals to go all over the place. I feel like iv found my Dental home. Thank You Smile West Dental. Ps they take most dental insurance.
