I was excited to shop at the Karl Lagerfeld store in Commerce, CA, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The customer service was lacking from the moment I walked in. There was little to no acknowledgment when I entered the store. I fell in love with these sandals and I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time after requesting my shoe size 9. The sales associate appeared to forget about my request entirely, they never returned and I had to ask again. Eventually, another employee brought out what they said was a close size 8.5 (since they did not have a size 9) but it turned out to be a size 6.5 instead of an 8.5. It felt like no one was paying attention or genuinely interested in helping. As a customer, I expected much better service. A little attentiveness and communication would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, this experience left me disappointed, and I hope the store improves its customer service in the future.

My wife was at this store yesterday trying to make a purchase with a gift card I gave her from a few months ago. She was told that their system wasn't working and to come back the next day. Today, I ended up going for the wife to get the items she was purchasing. Once I go to the cashier to complete the purchase the cashier scans the gift card and says that their system isn't working. I said, they told my wife the same thing yesterday. Than there was a lady whome I was told was the assistant manager that overheard the conversation, and told her employee that they don't accept gift cards anymore. Mind you, this and official store gift card that I purchased in that exact same store...not a "visa' or " mastercard". So basically I was turned away and was told "sorry you can't use it". I asked to speak to a manager, and was told " she is out of the country". Than I asked for whomever was in charged and said " she is on the phone" and can't help you". I said, I can't use your own gift card at your store???, this makes no sense so I demanded to speak to a higher up and was denied. She wouldn't even want to give me the customer service number or a corporate number...she said " you can look it up online" besides the unprofessionalism she was also discriminating based on my looks and assumed I couldn't speak English. She kept trying to speak to me in spanish when it was clear she spoke English. So when I decided to ask, why would you speak Spanish if the conversation was initially in English...her response, " I can speak whatever language I like"...she had the biggest attitude and the worst customer service.( My wife also notice the vibe in that store however it was not the same person)... She called security on me and said the opposite. I got a hold of customer service and filed a complaint. At the end of the day from guidance from a customer rep on the phone and the helpful security guard and 40 minutes later (waiting outside..because I wasnt allowed in), they were able to complete the purchase and was given the goods. If you work in retail, you must provide great customer service to your customers. This is what makes a customer want to come back....but this employee gets an "F" for discrimination, bad customer service and bad attitude. Do not recommend buying here. A little customer service could have solved the issue but she did the easiest thing, which was to blow me off.

The Women’s and Men’s clothing is amazing and great quality. They have shoes and purses for all types! I love the designs and the staff is very friendly and helpful. It feels like Karl has given this store his Blessing! J’adore! I love seeing all the wonderful designs! How cute are the Karl & Choupette themed items? They are the cutest! You must see them in person, enjoy your shopping! Find the store across from the Auntie Annes Pretzel Store! See you there! I love helping people find what they love here and I also shop here regularly too!! Come on in!

Karl Lagerfeld was a peculiar fashion designer, ranging from the sublime to the ridiculous. Even after his death, the company maintains this duality, trying to capture a younger and older clientele at the same time. My wife likes the "classy" side of KL, and I must say that she's purchased some truly nice dresses, both from the regular store (or department stores that carry these products) and from the outlet store.

From the past times I’ve been to this store the customer service from the employees is good. However, my last experience was different. There is a lady by the name of “ Lidija” that seemed to be a certain type of supervisor talking rude to the rest of the employees, yelling at them in front of customers. This is extremely unprofessional and it shouldn’t be tolerated. Myself as a customer felt embarrassed by the situation and other customers felt uncomfortable as well. Karl’s L. Should address this matter promptly.
