I come to this location on the weekends because the Long Beach Crunch gyms are not 24 hours. It also has far more equipment to work with than the aforementioned locations. Whenever I come here, I’m always greeted warmly by Ronnie who keeps the gym clean with the weights racked. The only other worker who keeps the gym to such a standard is a lovely worker who I only started seeing recently. I didn’t catch her first name but we share the last name, Guevara. What stops me from giving this location a 5 star is that when I do come during the week whether during the mornings or afternoons, I spend more time finding weights or reracking myself. Sure, there’s more people coming to the gym at “peak hours” but there are more workers on. Whenever I come during Ronnie’s shift or Ms. Guevara, my workouts are focused and intentional. (I’ve included pictures of how the gym looks right now under Ronnie’s supervision and hard work)

I’m mostly writing this review because I appreciate how clean the gym is on weekends. I always see Ronnie cleaning up and re-racking weights. He’s also very attentive compared to other night staffers on the weekdays. I’m adding photos to show what it’s like on a typical Sunday morning at 3am. It’s not always like this on weekdays! I enjoyed the personal training services and reached my goals and beyond. The hydro massage option is cool too. There are usually a lot of people from 7-9pm but then it starts to die down. I’ve never had to wait more than one person in line for a machine. They also have 7 squat racks which is awesome. Minus one star because sometimes the bike machine buttons are broken or uncalibrated. And when I tried to cancel my personal trainer membership I had to pay an extra month on top of the month for the 30-day cancellation policy, but I had timestamps on when I told them so management figured it out. But be sure to have timestamps and written record of when you cancel things (if you do!) Other than that it’s a chill environment and lots of equipment to choose from.

Great gym to come to. Smaller so be aware of the crowded times such as 9-10 and 5-8 pm. You can be strategic when it comes to finding the weights I’ve never had problems getting to a treadmill or any other cardio machine. Good variety of equipment but wish they had more up to date like some of the other crunches.

I always come here on the weekends late at night and it’s always clean thanks to Ronnie. I always find my weights so easily and every time I walk in, I always see him greeting people including me. Dudes really nice and chill!

I’ve been a Crunch member since they opened their Long Beach (Bixby Knolls) facility and have been going to the Cerritos location since they’ve first opened since they were one of the first to be 24/7, which is super convenient for my chaotic schedule and it’s been pretty much my home away from home, and one particular employee stood out for his performance and exceptionality: Ronnie In all of my interactions with him, he has consistently been professional, helpful, and genuinely dedicated to both the members and the facility. One thing I’ve always noticed is how hard he works to keep the gym clean (especially with the weights re-racked) organized, and running smoothly. The gym is often busy since it’s 24/7, yet he maintains a positive attitude and is always willing to help. What stands out most to me is his willingness to go above and beyond for members. During a period when I was dealing with a foot injury but still trying to stay active, he helped me move heavy equipment so I could work out safely. He has also helped coordinate equipment and even made sure I had access to a squat rack when the gym was crowded and I needed one for deadlifting (because I can never miss those! #DeadliftForDonuts). These may seem like small things individually, but they demonstrate a level of customer service and attentiveness that I greatly appreciate. I’ve always found him to be respectful, approachable, and focused on creating a positive environment for everyone in the gym. While I can’t speak to anyone else’s experience, I can confidently say that my experiences with him have been overwhelmingly positive and always look forward to coming into the gym when he’s working!!! Employees who consistently show dedication, professionalism, and care for their members deserve recognition, and I wanted to make sure that my experience was represented as well.
