We came early for dinner and highly recommend making a reservation. We brought a large dog and he was so welcome! The view of the lake and beyond is stunning. The menu is small and also delicious. The salads are popular! We also split a pizza and Italian hero - we loved everything! Also, Athena is a Rockstar.

The food was delicious and the service was very good. One thing we didn’t love was that for larger groups a 20% gratuity is automatically added, which felt quite expensive. Also, everything was served on disposable plates and drinks came in small cups, some plastic and some glass. The pizzas were amazing—very different from the usual, fluffy, crunchy, with lots of olive oil and great flavor. The Caesar salad and burrata were very good as well.

After a day of hiking and chores around the house we decided to check out De La Nona at the newish Marina Hotel in town. The restaurant has a huge deck with wonderful views of the lake and the marina and had a lot of staff running around making sure the drinks are filled and food comes fast. We decided to split a chopped salad and a pepperoni pizza. The salad was super tasty and surprisingly large. More than enough for two people. It had beans, pepperoni, peppers, and a delicious vinaigrette. The pizza was doughy with a good crisp. It was a good size for two to share after the salad. It’s probably the amount of pizza you should eat yourself hahaha. The view was great and the staff was friendly. We didn’t get drinks this time around because we had a long day but they had a great drink and wine selection. The bartenders were super friendly as well. We’ll be back.

Great Pizza Restaurant with excellent service. Amazing Lake view, ample Terrace and nice indoor Bar. Store Manager ( sorry I forgot her name), waitress Amanda along with Samantha and Zoe at the entrance desk will give you an outstanding service while eating, having a great time and enjoying the view. Pizzas are not round shape but rectangular shape. I suggest one per person. Not the common pizza dough recipe, more like a bread but still delicious.

We had a wonderful experience at De La Nonna in Big Bear with a group of 45 members from Fast Lane Drive Orange County, our members-only exotic car club. Jenny, Jennifer, and the entire team did a great job accommodating our large group. The service was friendly and attentive, the food and bar were excellent, and the views made the setting even more memorable. The Aperol slushie was definitely a group favorite. Thank you to the entire De La Nonna team for helping make our Beach to Big Bear drive such a great day.
