I visited Orangetheory Fitness Albany today and was honestly surprised by the weight selection. I’ve been to 20+ Orangetheory studios nationwide, and this is the first one where the heaviest dumbbells were only 60 lbs—and there was just one pair available. For a busy studio, the overall number of heavier weights felt very limited, which made it hard to properly complete the strength portion of the workout. I also noticed this location doesn’t have the standard heavier Orangetheory dumbbells I’ve seen at other studios. That said, the coach was very nice and supportive throughout the class, which I really appreciated. Overall, I enjoy Orangetheory workouts and usually have great experiences, so this stood out. I’d strongly recommend increasing the number and range of heavier weights to better support members, especially during full classes.

This was the first studio I ever visited. Felt welcomed and supported from the get go. All of the coaches are really passionate and professional. Workouts are challenging and fun. My physical health has improved significantly since I joined. Totally recommend anyone to try it. My preferred time slot is 5:40pm due to my work schedule. Love working out with coach Jazon, Noah, Regine, Jenny and Madie just to mention a few. They all know their stuff and are always paying attention to your struggles and accomplishments. They will make you feel part of the Family. Heavily recommend this studio if you want to get in shape and have fun doing it. 5 stars are not enough.

I love OTF Solano! I've been going for just shy of a year and have gotten significantly stronger by going 2x/week. The front desk staff are always friendly, the other customers are supportive, and the vibes are generally awesome. I love that there are a variety of people who work out here: all shapes, ages, abilities, etc. My favorite coaches are Soph, Maddie, Jenna, and Noah (even though I only get to do his workouts when I have a day off work)! My only wish would be if there were more strength 50 classes that worked for my schedule (after 4:30 on weekdays).

I joined OTF Solano in 2017 shortly after it opened and have been a loyal customer ever since. I love the workouts. They are well-rounded, covering cardio, strength, rowing, balance and stretching. I go 3 times a week and feel very fit. I have been a tourist at other OTF studios in different parts of the State or different States and appreciate that I can dive right into the workout since I am familiar with the flow and terminology. Albany Solano is the best studio. The coaches have been consistently good. Jazon is awesome and I always look forward to workouts when he is coaching. He has great energy and a dry sense of humor and makes us all want to push ourselves. Jenna is enthusiastic and helpful. I also liked Noah the one time I attended a class he coached. The front staff are all friendly and always greet us by our first names. I also like my workout peers. They keep coming back since this studio is the best!!

OTF Solano will change your life if you let it! Front desk staff are kind, fun and welcoming and create a nice sense of community. The coaches are awesome, especially love Jenna and Jazon when I want to be entertained while working out (get ready for dad jokes and dry humor 😆). It’s always a good workout and good use of time.
