Stilly Thrift Store and Collectables

I have been a regular, weekly customer of this thrift store for the last 20 years. I always go through the store very quickly to scan the areas I like to shop, and if I don’t find anything I leave. Today I went through my routine of scanning the shelves, books and records and as my friend and I were leaving I heard a woman say “what are you guys looking for?” In a loud, blunt voice. Thinking she was just being friendly, I said “We’ll know it when we find it, nothing today”. When I turned to look at her she had the nastiest look on her face, and I realized she was suspicious of us and maybe even thought we were potential thieves. As a regular customer who has spent a lot of money there in the past, I resented being treated like a thief. Most of the employees there have been very kind and polite. This woman, on the other hand, needs a lesson in customer service. I will have to seriously reconsider shopping there in the future.

I always find a bragable deal at this store. Sunglasses starting at $0.99! 😍 Seriously want to gatekeep this place. But can't be competitive thrifter if no one else is playing...

A delightful thrift store. Very nice items and always priced well. Staff very friendly. The shop helps seniors.

Called on a Friday asking about donations and spoke to a male that stated donation hours (which are during my working hours), he asked about the amount of donations I had and I was specific on the amount and types of donation items and was told I could make a Saturday donation the following day "come in and let staff know and grab a cart for the items" . This morning we loaded up our vehicle and came in and was told by a girl that she wasn't notified so I would not be able leave donations. Lack of communication here, don't bother donating things here. Based on the other feedback there are plenty of others that have issues with staff.

Altogether, the prices are decent, and they have a good variety of things to dig through. I thought some of the clothing prices were high considering the style and wear on the clothing. I was bale to find some nice maternity clothing there! Which is rare, I think, for thriftstores to have. No public restroom, though! That was one downside.
