It’s been too long since we visited this gem (years, even). Under the new ownership, Marinitas’ food is better than ever! I had the grilled salmon (pescado grillado) with asparagus , arugula, and sweet potatoes. The salmon was perfectly grilled and the veggies cooked just right. Victor was our server and he remembered my husband and his order from years ago. Excellent, friendly service and accommodated my gluten-free requests. (chips are in a fryer with churros, so subbed fresh, yummy gf tortillas). The guacamole portion was generous!

The service was very good but the place feels old and it needs a refresh. There were very few people there on a Friday night which was surprising. Happy hour prices are good but it ends at 5:30 so if you are coming after work, your drinks will be full price. This said, I would give it one more try, as it may have just been an off night. We did not have food..only chips and salsa/guacamole.

Don’t miss the Peruvian gems on this menu! Incredible ceviche and lomo saltado, as well as perfectly cooked steak & rotisserie chicken. The Peruvian classic ceviche was one of the best I’ve ever had. This was a lovely spot to gather for World Cup games. We had a wonderful meal, with kind and attentive staff to boot. Highly recommend!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to say how lovely this experience was. The food was absolutely delicious, and everything looked very clean and well taken care of. What I appreciated the most, though, was the service. Our waiter Hector was so kind and attentive, it made the whole visit feel very special. We decided on the camarones with chipotle, and later had the chicken enchiladas and my husband a lomo saltado. We also had a few margaritas that he made, which were absolutely wonderful. A beautiful place. I’m very glad I came. on our next visit to california we will definitely come back.

Outstanding service, hospitality and professionalism! I recently attended a private party at Marinitias. Serafin's staff was top notch in attending to the guests bringing elegance and class to the party experience. I highly recommend Maranitias if you're looking for a world class venue for any gathering.
