Just like you

I’m had braces with other providers and it just wasn’t what was needed. When I contacted bright now and switched over it was everything I could as for. Service was not hours long! Dr was nice and patience, even listen to my concerns when he came to what I didn’t like about my treatment or my teeth. After 5 years of braces I was able to complete my treatment my teeth look GREAT. Lost my Retainer the same week I got my braces taken off and they were able to get me in for another scan and a replacement the next day that they did ortho. I will definitely recommend right now to other people that I know. The staff are nice. They answer the phone in a timely manner.

These were not isolated mistakes. Five days before my appointment, I emailed your office asking what forms, referrals, or other requirements were needed. I received no response. We also received no call or voicemail advising that a referral was required. I had to call the office myself multiple times to confirm the pre-operative instructions. During that call, I was specifically instructed to fast from food for eight hours before my procedure. As a result, I arrived with an empty stomach, only to be informed upon arrival that fasting was not actually required. Because of this miscommunication, I was unable to eat until after my procedure, around 4:00 p.m. This unnecessary fasting was the direct result of inconsistent communication regarding my pre-operative instructions. On the day of the appointment, we were told that without a written referral, there was nothing that could be done and that I likely would not be seen. I explained how urgent this procedure was and the severe pain I was in. I had chosen your office specifically because of the earliest availability. No effort was made at that time to explore alternatives. Only after speaking with another representative, Kim, did we learn that I could simply be evaluated by the surgeon who could make the recommendation. A straightforward solution that was never offered initially. Then, after the procedure, while I was in significant pain, the prescription for my pain medication was sent to a pharmacy in San Diego, a location I have never ever lived in or had any connection to, while the other prescriptions were sent correctly. I would also like to add that while I was sitting in the office waiting to be seen, I overheard the front desk, women talking badly about every patient they had just got off the phone with. These repeated failures and lack of professionalism have caused unnecessary delays, additional stress, and prolonged pain. We consider this a patient safety concern, and a failure in administrative procedures that resulted in a delay in medically necessary treatment.

I had a very disappointing experience at Bright Now Dental today. I waited for over 1 hour and 30 minutes without receiving any assistance, updates, or communication from the staff. Sitting in the waiting room for that long without anyone checking in or explaining the delay is unacceptable. I understand that dental offices can get busy, but basic customer service and respect for patients’ time should be a priority. A simple update or acknowledgment would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, after waiting so long without help, I decided to leave. I hope management addresses these issues and improves communication with patients so others do not have the same experience.

My experience to this place is very bad. I had appointment for cleaning covered by my insurance but they told me to get other services and asked me to sign pre-treatment estimation of co pay I said no and told them as I am their to get cleaning service. Then they said oral hygienist is not here now. After I told to the doctor as this happened for send time as excuse, he said ok I will spot for you after 60minutes then he came with in less than 10 minutes and started the cleaning for less than 3minutes and passed to his assistance to finish. She polished the front and then she told me as I am done. They are their only for money no work ethics. No proper service .

Id just like the say I had an awful experience. The office is disgustingly filthy. I took a picture of one of the dental rooms, there was a layer of dust on parts of it that must have been months thick, you could put your finger in it and it would leave a giant streak. There are literal holes in the cabinets. I feel like I could get sick if they did anything beyond X-Rays (pics attached so I don't come across as making stuff up). The pricing seemed obscene, we came for a teeth cleaning. We had an appointment at 2pm, they didn't see us until 3:30, told us they didn't have time for a cleaning, but had no problem telling us it was going to cost us $1000 on another day. For the record they call you multiple times to confirm your time, they will charge if you're late, and/or if you cancel. But they have no problem basically making you wait hours, telling you they don't have time to do what you came for, then shoving a massive bill into your hands asking you to schedule a bunch of stuff. Place is gross, predatory, and poorly ran.
