Handmade dumplings and noodles were a bit hard to come by around this area in Milpitas, especially when langzhou hand pulled noodle OX9 left some time ago. Places like henan braised noodle are often too small to fix the gap or highland noodles were too expensive. Here’s a place that not already starts their prices lower than both of those, but to their grand opening, have 30% off everything! Even soda is 85 cents! If dining in, you take a number Carl’s Jr style and then order through a tablet in store specifically for in person diners (take out orders have their own). While waiting for your dumplings , you can get your soy sauce bowls that have cilantro and green onions and other condiments. They also have snacks to enjoy while you wait including watermelon, cantaloupe, peanuts and more! Water is even self serve. Due to the pricing structure here, take out boxes and trays are located here too to finish your food once you are done. Overall, besides the initial interaction and how you are seated, not too much interaction with staff at all! Wish there was places more for solo diners but I’m sure weekdays should be quiet. They’re closed on Tuesdays. However this is a great place that prices things right for a change and it’s refreshing to see, especially with this hand made noodle with beef that’s really tasty!

This place deserve a 5 stars. I believe they had been open just for a short period of time and we had been there for 2 times. Both time doesn't need to wait (probabaly we went at early hours) They are doing promo, everything is at ridiculously low price that you won't find in the bay area, but even without the promo, their price is not bad and tip is not asked. Even price is not a factor, the food itself is not bad. We don't get the dry mouth reaction after the meal. Food review (things we had ordered): Beef offal (牛雜麵）soup taste really good 紅燒豬手麵. This one is soso, alot of meat, but the 豬手 is whitish look and not my preference of 紅燒 but it can be just a personal preference. Small dishes, we tried the trio (almost a must order) , 豬耳(very good) ,few other non spicy veggie dishes (very good for me but kid who doesn't like garlic probabaly can skip this) The place is simple but clean and nice decorated, def not a high end place, but a good simple restaurant. It has 2 kiosk for self order, once it is ordered, they will bring them to your table. They also have a self serve corner, for the addons (source and green onion etc...), after meal fruits and togo boxes and things. Overall comment: Very good for the money value (even at regular price later, saving from tip already save u at least 15% now a days) but not for you if you looking for high end or full service.

Near perfect, in these days of extremely high prices, small portions, poor service, and no ambience; Tasty Noodles & Dumplings stands alone, with * Very Low Prices ** Great Lunch Specials (Good choice of Entrées, Big portion of Fried Rice, Healthy size portion of sides, and unlimited self-serve "bar" of cilantro+onions+peanuts+oil+water melon+oranges) And you get $1 back for every $10 as Reward - that's 10% back on all purchases. And the best part is that this is the only place that doesn't want to scam you of 18-20-25% or more in Tips - they have signs asking you not to tip! (I only hope they are paying and treating their employees well.)

Great selection and easy to check out kiosk and no tip. They even had free fruits . Self service condiment station and easy to access water station
