**I'm updating my review to 3 stars since they apologized via social media and insisted on providing me a refund. I appreciate the desire to make things right. In January I really liked their Cuban sandwich. It was stacked with pulled pork. In July I ordered the sandwich again and it had the thinnest spread of pork. I posted about it on social media and their account assured me that they must have been running low on pulled pork. Well here I am again in August and they served me the sandwich with even less pulled pork. The other half didn’t even have any pork. Fool me once as they say I brought it up to the counter to politely ask what happened between January and now and the guy at the counter dismissively said “talk to the girls about it” The girl in question who talked to me said “oh we must have run out of pork” Ok even if it was somehow true that they conveniently run out of pork every time I order…..why sell the sandwich? They’re charging the same price as they did in January when it was an actual Cuban sandwich and not an over priced ham sandwich. They did allow me to replace the sandwich with their mediocre smash burgers. But I came here for the Cuban I loved in January. If you’re not going to offer the same item, take it off the menu. Terrible business practices, terrible customer service

Distant Brewing is our favorite stop in Mammoth! The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the food is great and the beer is excellent. Sky Pillow is my absolute favorite—I make sure to get it every time I visit. Great beer, great people, and an inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Best beer in Mammoth area, not even close. Love the indoor/outdoor options, food is reasonably priced, and I would argue better than average bar food… Smash burgers are phenomenal, and has a down to earth atmosphere.

Been here a few times and it was awesome. Perfect place to stop in when you’re out exploring US-395. Very good hazy IPAs with Sky Pillow and Opaque. First time I had the Bacon Mac & Cheese and this most recent time the Triple Smashburger. Huge variety in the menu - something for everyone. Staff was friendly and fast with orders despite it being somewhat busy the first two times. A friend and I returned on July 4th for lunch however and he didn’t get the order he expected, and I felt my burger was lacking a little. They were busy as I’ve ever seen them so it’s understandable. Definite stop if you’re coming in from Bodie for a quick recharge or going out to the mountains

Service was amazing. Great selection of brews. Vibe was immaculate. Cute brewery doggo and cool merch. If I were a local this would be my SPOT! Will definitely be our go to when we come back! Chorizo nachos are also pretty delightful! Do recommend!
