I hate writing negative reviews. The people who work here are very nice and great with kids. But service wasn't that good. The place was pretty empty but our drinks stayed empty a lot. Really confused by all the rave reviews of their salsa...and their food generally. I know times are tough, but there is a serious mismatch between price and quality at this place. Salsa definitely does not seem fresh or house made. $7.50 "Guacamole" was not definitely guacamole. Texture of pea soup that tasted like lime. Food came cold. Shredded beef was tasty but $14 for a (yes, 1) small street style taco , cold runny refried beans, and over-salted rice. My kids likes the taquitos and horchata. Lunch taquito order came with 2 taquitos, runny beans, and over salted rice for $16. Both kids left hungry. Ridiculous.

We come to see this beautiful family twice a year for over 20 years from San Jose, Ca… The food is amazing, the drinks are Delicious and the Conversations we keep cherish in our hearts.. We hate that we live 3 1/2 hrs away or else we will eat here all the time .. Everything tastes so good here and lots of options from the large menu

Grover Beach's best kept secret. It's rarely busy which doesn't make sense. Great traditional Mexican food with a true chefs touch for flavors and details. What blows my mind every time is the house made hand crafted cocktails and exclusive tequila list. It's an absolute must is to speak with Gabriel if he's in: a chill connoisseur of all things alcohol who does his homework to bring in the high quality alcohol you didn't know you were missing. Also, their two signature drinks are canned in house and available to-go. Try the Mexican Sake, the G4 Tequilas, and anything on their food menu. Don't mean to be fangirling buuuut...

We really enjoyed giving this restaurant a try! I was skeptical about a place tucked away in a strip mall, but what a pleasant surprise! It's actually quite lovely & cheery inside, and the hostess/ waitress was so friendly! We all loved the food ( not overly spicy, but just right), and each of said we want to come back. If the food & service continue to be on par, this could easily become my FAVORITE Mexican Restaurant in South County! (I only deleted one star because the waitress was SO friendly that she got distracted in conversation with other at another table and forgot to return to our table to take our order. But when I flagged her down, she came over right away.)

Drinks are amazing!! They don’t have enough stars to give 😊 best Paloma I’ve had - and I’ve tried them in north ad south California and Mexico. Coming back tomorrow! Great service!
