TLDR: Simple breakfast food. Very popular. Nothing wrong with the food or service, but overrated in my opinion Checked out this place as it was recommended by a few friends in the area. It's still very busy on weekends, but the wait time is very reasonable considering the number of people. It may be a little hard to find seating though. The sandwiches were on par with what you'd find in an Asian convenience store The pancakes were meh. Soft and anemic. I can easily make better ones at home I left still kinda hungry and fingers greasy

Went in as the place opened at 8am on a Sunday. No problems with parking, no lines inside and we were the first ones in. Food was solid. I had Black pepper teppan noodles Taiwanese milk tea Taro & pork sung/floss sandwich (pork sung/floss or bak hu, is a cut meat stewed in sweetened soy sauce & other spices, then dried) Service was self-service, but the lady taking the order was friendly. And the orders were ready for pick up quickly. After more people came in, order numbers started to be called out for pickup through a PA system. Atmosphere was solid. Just general customer chatter, no music background other than the sounds of a Chinese news channel. But all perfectly good setting for chatting with others.

As a Taiwanese, they do serve very authentic Taiwanese breakfast!! I love the egg roll the most! And the sandwich and daikon cake were good too. The staffs were very nice and the dine-in environment was clean. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, especially Grace is very passionate. Tasty and authentic black pepper teppon noodle, classic Taiwanese milk tea and corn chowder there. Tastes like Taiwan. Will definitely come next time.

Cafe Mei has the most authentic Taiwanese breakfast! The mayo in the toast tastes exactly the same as what I had in Taiwan! Please try all their items, they would meet your expectations of Taiwanese breakfast
