I usually don’t write reviews unless they deserve it and this one definitely did just went out of my way to come here from Chula Vista to get a I’m sorry greeting card and their was two older ladies there like one of them was great help she went out of her way to show me where the cards was at and suggest others one that I might like to like it was great experience so thank you so much and appreciate the help again

BEST HALLMARK EVER!!! Been going here for over 10 years, and they never cease to surprise and amaze! Today I walked in and they had it decorated beautifully for the holiday season and also custom cookies and hot apple cider for customers as they come in the door! Always a great selection and pleasurable and caring staff!

Customer service practices could use some improvement. Three associates talking endlessly at the cash wrap with no offer to help. Had to ask one to help me find an item from another store: they should offer that! Wanted to see a lighted Christmas ornament on display. Finally, after no battery excuses they were able to demonstrate. Wanted to buy a rather expensive music box item as a gift. No back stock and no discount for used item. This is not somewhere I care to shop. I didn’t feel welcome.

Elam 's Hallmark Shop at Grossmont Center ( since all of the Hallmark Stores in San Diego are named Elam's) is an iconic institution! This shop has been in this location for as long as I can remember and has always provided outstanding service and products! Came in the store and was immediately greeted. Was in search of Snoopy ornaments and was shown what was available. Happily found some I Iliked, purchased them and was on my way. ALWAYS provided excellent and friendly service. Thank You!!!
