We came here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The ocean views are breathtaking. While we were waiting for our food, we enjoyed watching people surf, which made the whole experience even more special. The photos I took barely capture how beautiful this place really is. I wouldn’t say the food and drinks are the absolute best we’ve ever had, but everything was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. For a beachfront restaurant, I think they’re doing an amazing job. One tip: don’t park in the public lot across from the restaurant—it costs around $30 for just two hours. The restaurant’s valet parking is only $10, which is a much better deal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great oceanfront dining experience. After dinner, you can take a relaxing walk along the beach since it’s just steps away. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and we’d happily come back again.

We were fortunate to get a window table, and the view was absolutely fantastic. The staff were warm, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. The food was very good overall—we especially enjoyed the steak, the calamari was delicious, and the drinks were well made. The only downside was the Mixed Seafood Pot, which was a bit too salty for our taste, making it difficult to enjoy with the rice. Aside from that dish, we had a wonderful dining experience and would gladly return.

Although this has been a Del Mar cornerstone; this was my first time. We arrived just before opening and there was already a line, on a weekday! It’s old world charm inside and we were sat at the huge, gorgeous windows that provided epic views and ocean breezes. The service is impeccable! We were four women who hadn’t seen each other in 48 years (!) and Chase L understood his mission - we weren’t in a hurry. He provided the perfect mix of attentive, accurate, and not ever rushing us; definitely reflecting the level of service provided here. We appreciated the cocktail/wine menu. By far, the Sancerre Domaine du Carrou Sav Blanc was our favorite. Then the food! The fish specials were divine, as were the fish Caesar and chicken strawberry and candied walnut salads. Overall, it was absolute perfection and a cherished memory for all of us!

An absolute five star experience. Food was top-notch, service friendly and attentive, and atmosphere is amazing, especially on a nice day when the windows open out to the beach. Split the seafood stew with my 12-year-old son and that was mostly enough given weed already had an appetizer. It was my daughter’s 10th birthday celebration and they treated her like a queen.
