The movie will be good I’m sure. Our movie just started at 830pm and the previews are still playing, my wife and I were getting our kids to our seat and when we got to go back the the concession stand we were told it was now closed. I would have taken my business and elsewhere but everyone is already settled in, what a shame. Definitely bringing our own snacks and drinks next time to pay it safe. Thanks Mary Pickford theater for the heads up👎🏽 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Always love coming to this theater. But what really stood out tonight was Christian behind the counter. His customer service skills are beyond amazing and accommodating. We were not having such a great day until we came to the movies and he helped us out. Thanks Christian. I hope this review doesn’t get unnoticed. I hope management actually read these reviews

This theatre is not in the business of selling movie tickets. I showed up at 6:50pm at the window of the box office for a 6:50pm screening. They asked me to chose a seat from their computer screen. I opted for D3. My request was denied based on the availability of D1, D2 and D4. The manager explained in person after failing to reply to my email that the cluster of 4 seats needed to be occupied by 4 people and not by one. The manager explained that he serves food like in a restaurant and that a cluster of 4 seats is like a table of 4. Went on to say that all theatres do this, while no other theatre ever refused my seat selection. He said that his theatre has been doing this since they have a reservation system without providing any evidence. However, he did mention that it was a Tuesday night, meaning that reduced fare patrons should be treated accordingly…. and that the fine prints of the terms and conditions of the ticket sale give him full discretion as where he wants to seat the audience. It was an eye opener to discuss with Mr Hane how it was only a sound dose of discretionary power that led his staff to deny me access to an available seat in auditorium 12. When I asked Mr Hane if those seats (D1, D2, D3 & D4) had been sold, he said he did not know (because they obviously weren’t). I will not return to this theatre and I will tirelessly work on sparing all the people I know from the “discretionary power” of the Mary Pickford is D Place Theatre personnel.

Wow! I have to say, I haven't been here in a while but my experience was great. We went on a Wednesday so our theatre had only one other person in there. The seats were very comfy and I swear there is a built in pillow for your head. It reclines back. The restroom was very clean and smelled good. I will definitely be coming here now more often. They have an arcade area. I liked the duck grabber. I won one.

I had a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience at this theater, which is upsetting because I’ve been coming here for years and have never been treated this way before. My brother and I arrived before the rest of our group because they were still parking. Before I even went to buy popcorn, an old male employee had aggressively followed me asking where the rest of my party was and repeatedly questioning me about the tickets. I calmly explained multiple times that the rest of our group was still parking and that I could show proof of all the tickets once they arrived. Instead of listening, the employee continued acting aggressively and attempted to take the tickets out of my hand. He then stated that he would “hold onto them” until the rest of the group arrived, despite not knowing who they were or giving any clear reason for this. The interaction felt hostile and unnecessary when we were fully cooperating and simply trying to explain the situation. I later spoke to the manager about how uncomfortable the interaction was, and while he said he would “talk to him,” the response felt dismissive overall. Then, while I was still waiting for my concession order to be completed, the manager asked if the order was mine and accused me of “forgetting to pay,” even though another person was helping me. I had not even finished the transaction yet. It was embarrassing and came across as very accusatory. After I finally paid, the manager handed me a box of Junior Mints “for my trouble,” which honestly did not make up for how poorly the situation was handled, especially since I don’t even eat them. I also want to add that the situation felt discriminatory to me because I noticed other customers were not being questioned or followed the way my brother and I were. For context I’m Hispanic and the aggressive treatment and accusatory behavior made me feel singled out and deeply uncomfortable. The entire experience was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and disappointing. Customers should not be treated aggressively or made to feel like they are doing something wrong when they are simply trying to watch a movie.
