These guys are awesome. Mike was great and super helpful. They offered a free diagnosis and did a test drive for what I thought was a minor transmission issue. They told me it wasn’t a transmission issue and pointed me in the right direction. Amazing place. Old school guys. If you’re having transmission issues in the Palm Desert area make sure you give them a call. Hard to find honest, friendly, good people these days. Thank you again Mike and your crew (Armando).

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW. First I want to say we are full time RVers that travel the country with a 42ft 17,000 pound rv. We put a lot of miles on our 2021 ram 3500 truck. As we were pulling into Palm Springs our engine light came on and the truck wouldn't shift out of first gear. After calling dealers all over the area and being told transmission parts for our truck are on a national backorder, they wouldn't even be able get us in to find out what was going on for 2 or 3 weeks. We started looking around at transmission shops all over town and found this Aamco transmission shop. Based on all the great reviews we limped the truck up to the shop and talked to the manager Mike, as soon as we walked in the door he treated us like he knew us our whole life. Mike and his mechanics are old school guys that have decades of experience, there are no young text books kids working here. They have tons of experience working on trucks like ours that pull RV's full time. He worked with our extended warranty company and gave us options on upgrading the transmission to be able to handle the pressure we put on it every year and also kept in constant contact with us throughout the entire process, he even had it ready a day early. We are extremely pleased with the price and the work that was performed on our vehicle. This truck is running better than the day we bought it. So if you need transmission work I can not stress enough on how good these guys are, please please go talk to Mike first even before talking to the dealer.

Mike is an amazing person! He honest and I feel he’s reliable. He’s awesome to talk with just in general, warm heart and funny. Armondo fixed my car and did a fantastic job!! Great guy as well. I will forever will come here now for service. Thank you guys for all your hard work and honesty❤️

AAMCO in Cathedral City is the best! Mike and his team are so thorough and thoughtful. I recently got my transmission rebuilt and the thermostat replaced through my extended car warranty, and everything was taken care of.
