Stopped by on our way to a concert and was craving Mexican food. Ordered shredded beef hard shell tacos and wife ordered some garlic shrimp with napoles. Salsa was so so, rice had no flavor and beans were almost the same. Restaurant seemed a bit on the dirty side, but waitress was nice.

First time eating here while visiting Palm Springs CA. Saw the reviews and thought I'd score with an excellent fajita meal. The chips and salsa were not that great. Chips kind of heavy rather than light and crispy. The salsa was bland and had chunks of green onions. Firet time id ever seen this. Not a fan. Ordered the trio fajitas ( shrimp, steak and chicken). The fajitas had very little flavor. The shrimp seemed as if it just came out of a frozen bag. The was a tiny scoop of guac and a tiny scoop of sour cream but ur charging $21 for the meal. Finally the strawberry margarita had very little alcohol. I should either taste or feel it when I drink it. Overall not worth the $38 meal and $1.14 surcharge for using a credit card. Won't ever recommend or eat here again. Oh the restaurant had very little decorations. Atmosphere could be much more lively or authentic looking rather than looking like soup kitchen.

Our server was great. She was very friendly and attentive to us. The horchata may be the best I have had, and they didn't skip out on the refills. It took a bit for the food to be ready. Overall, the food was delicious. The only issue I had was the rice. My wife and I both thought it lacked flavor. We Will Be Back!

Old school neighborhood joint! Perfect. Our server was always smiling. The cod tacos were great as were the rice and beans. Chips were thin and crispy. Scratch kitchen. And to make the experience complete, clean bathrooms. This business has definitely been cared for over the years. Nothing fancy. Just good food and service.

Paid $45 for a chile relleno and asked for rice and beans since I’m vegan. I wasn’t being difficult , I knew what kind of place I was going to. The server suggested bell pepper and onion tacos with rice and beans, but everything came covered in cheese. Later they brought beans without cheese, but I was still charged for a full meal that honestly wasn’t worth the price. The food was also way too greasy.
