Stopped by Institution Brewery in Camarillo for lunch and had an awesome experience. We ordered the Carne Asada pizza and wow… she calls it iconic, and honestly, she’s right. Tons of flavor, perfectly cooked, and just flat-out delicious. We also had the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and had a really great dressing that pulled it all together. I tried the Mexican lager as well, and the beer was really good — smooth, refreshing, and perfect with the meal. We sat out on the patio and loved the relaxed, low-key vibe. Super comfortable spot to hang out, enjoy great food, and just take it easy. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to. This place rocks — Local Love Approved.

Low key, classy hang, great beer and pizza, I did not see the full menu, just chilled out on the back patio. I will be back, this was my first time.

institution ale rules. the space inside is huge with nice TVs for sports watching and i love that they have areas that are 21+ for those not wanting kids running around (and this is coming from someone with a three year old). also a large back patio outside area with plenty of seating for larger parties and umbrellas for shade. good selection of beers, giant soft pretzels, and their pizzas are delicious. for some reason i thought they were small and over-ordered (they are full sized!). the chile verde pizza was a standout.

My husband and I decided to try a nice little place for pizza. It's located in the city of Camarillo. It's called The Institute Ale Co. It has plenty of seating inside and outside. They brew their own beer/ale IPA . My husband loved it. Crisp fresh taste. The pizza is very good. I recommend this gem . Please give them a try.
