This is my 3rd time stopping by. The Rib Eye Tacos were tender and delicious. The Chicken Tostada was very fresh and huge. I suggest trying out the lunch specials that include a soda. They might want to lower the music a little during the first hour of lunch as sometimes autistic individuals come in. But overall great experience.

Good food + good drinks. We weren’t too hungry, so we ordered the Kalavera sampler: 3 mini cheese quesadillas, 3 mole chicken tenders, 3 potato + chicken taquitos, 3 buffalo wings, nachos. Great portion size to share with a group. $25! Service is okay, it took 15 minutes for someone to greet us at the table and it wasn’t busy inside. It was also kind of dirty with many unbussed tables.

The drinks were delicious, the waitress was very nice and helped with recommendations. We came on a night with live music and the vibe and variety of music was great. However, the food was not as flavorful as I expected from the presentation and price.

I was staying with friends nearby and it was taco Tuesday. Tip: get two tacos at a time for more meat. They skimped on the meat on my first plate of six to make it fit the plate I guess. The tacos were good, I liked the carnitas better than the asada. All of the salsas went great with the tacos. It's nice having the toppings bar for you to customize.

We went to Kalaveras for a birthday dinner with a group of 10. The waitress, bartenders, managers & atmosphere was AMAZING! Delicious food and the drink menu was great and very tasty!! A must go too and being from Texas we love our Mexican food culture it’s a 10 out of 10+ We look forward to visiting again soon and especially the first place we will go when in Long Beach!!
