Wasn’t sure what to expect, but found a great community that is serious about self defense and an instructor that stresses knowing yourself and efficiency in action so you can get home to your loved ones at the end of the day. Coach Ken loves to instruct and it shows - everything is practical and I walked away the first night with tools to help defend myself that was able to pass on to my girls.

My experience with Anaheim Krav Maga started with a free trial. I also brought along my young daughter. I was searching for something that was effective for self defense for her because she was getting bullied at school, and for myself I wanted to train to be able to protect my family. Master Ken is great with the kids because he is patient, caring, and ties the curriculum with games to keep the kids engaged. The adult classes are great too. There is a beginner level class and an advanced level class. I look forward to each class and working with the other students on techniques. Master Ken has a wealth of martial arts knowledge and he will provide additional extra credit if asked during the daily partner lesson. I've been a part of the Practical Martial Arts family for almost a year and I have learned so much! I was hooked from my first class. Master Ken is approachable, knowledgeable and makes the class fun and accessible no matter your level of experience. He teaches not only the self defense moves, but also gives excellent insight on how to avoid dangerous situations all together. In addition, the school offers a great selection of class times, fitting various work/school schedules. I feel blessed to have found a such an excellent instructor, and a great group of fellow students, to teach me how to better defend myself.

Coach Ken and coach Alison are amazing. They make it feel like your second home. It is so welcoming and the vibes there are great. All the students there are like family. The coaches there are extremely patient and willing to teach without hesitation. I love it and I would recommend to everyone.

It has been about five months since I started coming to Anaheim Krav and I have been absolutely loving it! I didn't know much about Krav when I came but the positive reviews on here did not let me down. The class environment has been really positive and friendly and Coach Ken has proven himself to be an effective, entertaining, and caring coach. The first class is free so you should definitely give it a try if you're considering!
