I’d like to sincerely thank Dr. Steven Nguyen and Stephanie, the veterinary technician, for the outstanding care they provided to Penny during her pre-op visit for the removal of a cyst on her front leg. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a stressful situation much easier for both Penny and our family. They took the time to explain everything clearly, ensured Penny was comfortable, and showed genuine compassion every step of the way. We truly appreciate the care and support they gave Penny leading up to her surgery—thank you both for going above and beyond.

Coming back to update my review one year after the fact. It saddens me to say that our experience at this clinic only went downhill as the months went on. We switched to Healthy Paws vet clinic in Brea a few months ago and couldn’t be happier with our switch. We experienced wildly different treatment bringing our dog in vs small animals. It seemed as though the clinic didn’t value animals outside of cats and dogs. We once had to bring our rat into urgent care and after waiting 3 hours and watching person after person check in after us and go in before us, we followed up and were told “he’s just a rat” by the receptionist. We were then given an incorrect dose of his meds (per the ER dr we later had to see) and were not told how to administer his medication. With our dog, we started experiencing lessened care and a lack of intention around her treatment plans. We were frequently dismissed about her symptoms and told “she was just aging and pain was expected as she aged”. We later found Healthy Paws who did X-rays and thorough examination to find she has SEVERE arthritis and immediately put together a doable treatment plan. We will never go back to AHPC or recommend it. We still take her to Doggie Stylez next door, and they have told us they hear similar stories about this clinic on the daily. Very disappointed! LOVE THIS CLINIC!! We’ll never go elsewhere if we can help it. The staff is so kind and patient (both to the animals and to the parents). Every quote we receive is so fairly priced and every procedure/exam with them is done with intent and genuine care. They are just awesome! I recommend them to everyone that is seeking a place to bring their family!

Dr Jaz is by far the best veterinarian we have ever seen. He explains things for us to understand and presents the information for us to make whatever decision is best for our dog. He has called back numerous times to talk about medications and the condition of our dog and is patient to answer any and all questions. Truly a kind person who is out to help and can be trusted.

I was very impressed with my visit on a Sunday when my normal vet was closed. My senior Boxer Tyson was not acting like his normal self so I took him in for an evaluation, bloodwork and x-rays, which he needed to be sedated for. The bloodwork and x-ray results I rec'd the same day! Quite impressive! Even though they were very busy the day I visited (they have 1 vet on staff on Sundays), Dr. Katie Murray was very informative and spent time with me and Tyson, and answered all of my questions. I would definitely go back again for either of my Boxers on a weekend when my normal vet is closed. I highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Katie Murray! Great job all around, including the front desk staff Hailey and Destiny.

Our first visit to this clinic was an emergency situation with our dog. We saw Dr. Lui. She was extremely friendly, provided excellent communication throughout our dogs surgery and hospital stay. If I could give her and Dr. Jazz higher than 5 stars I would. My only concern was with the front office staff. Unfortunately, on multiple occasions the staff gave us wrong information. One staff member said she had no record of our animal being there. Office staff needs more training.
