This was my first visit to Lucky Strike in Alameda. The venue opens in the afternoon. I happened to be in the South Shore Shopping Center nearby, and thought I would check it out. The venue has a large arcade for the little ones and a bar with billard tables for the adults. When I was assigned to a lane, there was already a selection of house bowling balls in the return machine, with others available on nearby racking. At the end of the lanes, the wall has been replaced with large TVs, showing either live or recorded sporting events from local teams. The music playing were oldies, which fit the vibe of the place. While checking in, I was told by the staff that the venue had recently been remodeled. Outside food is not permitted, but there is a selection of in-house food and drink options that can be ordered directly from the terminal at your lane. Prices for food and drink seemed high to me, so if I return I would likely get a bite to eat either before coming it or after leaving from the nearby shopping center. The customer service was great and the staff were polite. Just as I was leaving, a larger group was arriving for a pre-arranged event. Overall, it was enjoyable and I plan to visit again.

After my previous review, I want to come back and update my experience because the manager reached out to me personally and handled everything in a very professional and respectful way. I truly appreciate when a business takes customer feedback seriously, and that is exactly what happened here. The manager contacted me directly, listened carefully to everything I mentioned, and made sure to explain how things work. He was extremely respectful, patient, and genuinely interested in making sure customers have a great experience. That kind of attention and care is something you don’t see everywhere. What impressed me the most was how quickly he responded and how seriously he took my concerns. Instead of ignoring the feedback, he showed real professionalism and leadership. It’s clear that he truly cares about the service and about the people who come to bowl here. I bowl here multiple times every week and it means a lot to see management that actually values regular players and listens to the community. His attitude, communication, and willingness to improve the experience completely changed my impression. Great customer service like this deserves recognition. I want to thank the manager personally for reaching out, for his professionalism, and for the respectful way he handled everything. Because of the excellent service, the respectful communication, and the effort he made to make things right, I’m happy to update my review to 5 stars. Highly recommended, and I truly appreciate management that cares about its customers.

Lucky strike Launch Party Event! Nicee Double check receipts and price. Items on the bills were not itemized and didn’t match the prize on the bills The girl at the food counter shortchanged us $10!!!!!

Great place to have fun, but the bar attendant two guys there, don't care about customer service, they didn't inform me the beer was warm not cool.

First time ever to be with my co-workers and we all enjoyed it with foods and drinks to e joy as well.
