I was walking by at night and just happened to see a line outside of the theater. I didn’t know about the theater before so I walked up to see what the buzz was about. I ended up seeing “The Lunchbox” as they had one rush ticket left 2 minutes before the doors closed. Well, that was a great decision to go in. I’m so glad I now know about this awesome theater! I am definitely coming back.

I went to see the Lunchbox which is a set in Bombay India. The music was awesome and the acting was beautiful. The talented voices rang out. I loved it. Not allowed to take pictures with my phone but I took one picture of the set which was also very creative with a moving stage. The underlying theme was about women and their role in the family.

Attended the All My Sons play at the Berkeley Rep. I'm so glad I did. This was our first time the theater has great staff. Took BART from the city a quick trip. Exited at Downtown Berkeley and walked to the Addison Street access. It was a quick left and only steps to the Berkeley Rep. Picked my tickets at will-call no problems. The play was fantastic.

Berkeley Repertory Theater is a jewel in the East Bay and in America. Berkeley Rep is recognized as one of the finest regional theaters in the country. It puts on quality productions with the best creative teams and actors in the world. You can see new productions of older and recent plays as well as brand new productions of plays that have never been presented before. In some of these cases, the theater acts as an incubator for shows that will go on to Broadway and London and other venues. It deserves your attendance and financial support.

Berkeley rep is an asset to the community. It’s such a wonderful experience. Both theaters are fairly small and yet they managed to get superb talent. They have fostered new shows that end up going to Broadway. They are minutes from the downtown Berkeley BART station.
