Scarecrow Stroll Returns to Downtown Danville for October
Local businesses throughout Danville have set up decorative scarecrows for the annual stroll running through November 1.
Danville has officially kicked off its seasonal festivities as the annual Scarecrow Stroll returns to downtown for the month of October. A total of 55 local storefronts and eateries are participating, each displaying an original, festive scarecrow outside their doors through November 1.
Visitors can follow an online route map to take a self-guided walking tour through town. Community members are invited to vote for their favorite creative displays while taking advantage of special autumn promotions and discounts offered by participating merchants.
The popular community tradition is organized each fall to encourage local shopping and bring seasonal cheer to Danville's downtown commercial corridor.
