Pumpkins After Dark Illuminated Walk Opens at Fairgrounds
A seasonal walk-through exhibit featuring thousands of carved pumpkins has launched at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.

A nationwide illuminated evening display called Pumpkins After Dark has debuted in Pleasanton, taking over parts of the Alameda County Fairgrounds through Halloween night.
The family friendly attraction includes thousands of intricately carved jack-o'-lanterns arranged in sculptures, lit pathways, and themed seasonal scenes. Live carving demonstrations are also planned to demonstrate how sculptors create the pumpkin art.
The walkthrough runs Thursday through Sunday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Organized as an open air, self-guided tour, entry requires advance timed tickets.
