Pleasanton Fairgrounds to Host 25th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial Ceremony
Alameda County officials and first responders will gather at the fairgrounds amphitheater for a public tribute.

Alameda County Supervisor David Haubert is hosting a commemorative military ceremony at the Alameda County Fairgrounds on Friday, September 11, marking the 25th anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks.
The ceremony will include remarks from local leaders, including Alameda County Fire Chief Willie McDonald, along with speeches from community members directly affected by 9/11. The program features a presentation of colors by the Alameda County Fire Department Honor Guard, patriotic music, a ceremonial Call of the Bell, a military rifle salute, and the playing of Taps.
The outdoor ceremony is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the fairgrounds amphitheater at 4501 Pleasanton Avenue. Admission is free and open to the public, and attendees are asked to arrive and take their seats by 9:30 a.m.
