Olive Hyde Art Gallery Presents 56th Annual Textile Exhibition

Fremont's Olive Hyde Art Gallery is welcoming visitors to its 56th Annual Textile Exhibition, highlighting a wide selection of traditional and contemporary fiber art pieces created by regional artists. The showcase includes woven tapestries, intricate fiber sculptures, quilts, and mixed-media textile installations.

This year's exhibition features contributions from 20 first-time participants alongside returning artists. Several contributors have also incorporated printmaking techniques into their fabric compositions, building on connections established during the gallery's previous printmaking exhibition earlier this season.

Community members can explore the collection throughout the month and attend a public opening reception on Friday, August 28. The evening gathering provides an opportunity to meet the artists, discuss their techniques, and celebrate visual arts in the historic Mission San Jose area.
