Olive Hyde Art Gallery Launches 56th Annual Textile Art Exhibition
A long-running fiber art exhibition featuring works from local artists is now on display at the Olive Hyde Art Gallery.
The Olive Hyde Art Gallery in neighboring Fremont has opened its 56th Annual Textile Exhibition, highlighting a wide selection of traditional and contemporary textile art created by Bay Area artisans.
The showcase presents woven works, fabric sculptures, custom quilts, and mixed-media creations. This year's event welcomes contributions from 20 first-time participants. The public is invited to attend a special opening reception on August 28 to meet the artists and discuss their creative techniques.
