Ohlone College Dedicates New Campus Learning Hub in Fremont

Ohlone College officially dedicated a new academic support space on its Fremont campus following a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Building 1. The newly opened facility, named the Trustee Suzanne Lee Chan and Dr. Steven D. Chan Learning Hub, occupies the second floor of the campus building.

The learning center was made possible by a financial gift from longtime Ohlone board trustee Suzanne Lee Chan and local optometrist Dr. Steven Chan. Retired Major General Garrett S. Yee emceed the ceremony, which brought together district leaders, staff, students, and community supporters.

College leaders designed the modern space to centralize student resources, provide group study areas, and offer accessible academic support for thousands of students enrolled at the Mission Boulevard campus.
