City Manager Kimbra McCarthy has appointed longtime municipal leader Lindsay Hagan as Mountain View's next deputy city manager.

Mountain View City Manager Kimbra McCarthy announced the promotion of Lindsay Hagan to the role of deputy city manager, advancing an experienced administrator who has served the community for 15 years. Hagan, who first joined the city staff as a planning intern, officially begins her new duties on October 12.
For the past four years, Hagan served as the assistant director of the Community Development Department. In that post, she managed a 20.5 million dollar budget, guided the development agreement for the 40-acre Google Middlefield Park Master Plan, and led improvements to the city's online building permit tools.
In her new administrative position, Hagan will coordinate citywide initiatives, assist with City Council work plans, represent the city during major land negotiations, and oversee downtown development projects.
