May Pang Showcases Historic John Lennon Photos at Peabody Gallery
A downtown Menlo Park art gallery is presenting a free three-day exhibition of rare photographs capturing John Lennon in the 1970s.
Downtown Menlo Park's Peabody Gallery on Santa Cruz Avenue is presenting a three-day photography exhibition titled The Lost Weekend: The Photography of May Pang. The collection showcases candid and personal photographs taken between 1973 and 1975 during Pang's relationship and creative collaboration with John Lennon.
Pang is greeting visitors in person throughout the weekend to discuss her photographs and sign collector prints. The exhibit features historic moments from Lennon's life outside the studio, including one of the final known photographs of Lennon and Paul McCartney together and the signing of legal documents formally ending The Beatles' corporate partnership.
