Greenback Lane Steakhouse Cleared to Reopen After County Vermin Violations

A Citrus Heights restaurant on Greenback Lane has resumed operations following two temporary health-related closures.

The Black Angus Steakhouse on Greenback Lane is back in regular operation following county health inspections that previously led to two brief closures earlier this year. Records from the Sacramento County Environmental Management Department detailed multiple repeat safety and cleanliness violations.

County health inspectors initially ordered the restaurant closed in early March after discovering evidence of rodent and insect activity, suspending its permit until corrections were made. A second two-day closure was mandated following an inspection in late June when inspectors noted persistent pest problems near prep and storage areas.

The restaurant was permitted to reopen after passing a subsequent inspection that confirmed management had brought in commercial pest control services to eliminate the issues. No further inspection notices have been issued since late June.
