The annual Fremont Festival for the Arts saw strong attendance after moving to its new layout along Capitol Avenue.

Summer heat did not stop thousands of local residents from gathering for the annual Fremont Festival for the Arts. This year's celebration featured a refreshed layout centered along Capitol Avenue, taking full advantage of the downtown event center plaza and main stage.
Organizers reported that over 13,000 visitors attended on Saturday, followed by more than 11,000 on Sunday. Guests enjoyed local food vendors, arts and crafts booths, and activities in the designated kids zone throughout the weekend.
Community leaders and regional officials stopped by the main stage to welcome attendees and share local updates. Representatives from the BART board highlighted transit accessibility to the festival, noting new faregate installations and rider discount programs.
