Fremont City Council Approves Public Art for Centerville Park Expansion
New permanent sculptures and mosaic art pieces will be installed as part of the Centerville Community Park project.
New public art is slated to arrive in Fremont following recent action by local leaders. The Fremont City Council approved permanent art installations designed to enhance the expanded grounds of Centerville Community Park.
The selected works include an interactive climbing sculpture and a vibrant mosaic installation, chosen through a ranked community art selection process. The installations are intended to offer visual beauty while providing engaging recreation for neighborhood children and visiting families.
The pieces will be incorporated into the broader park development plan. Municipal officials expect construction and installation across the newly expanded park grounds to reach completion by September 2027.
