Bar tender was very polite, she always smiling and easy conversation. Fast with the drinks. Fish tacos are different than most places, great crispy outside, soft inside, not over cooked or dry. Would be 5 stars but I don't want or need a business to push a liberal rainbow flag in my face. Just welcome and treat everyone with respect 🙏..

Decadant breakfast items most people can only fantasize about. Flaky biscuits, flavorful gravy, crispy chicken fried steak, and satisfying fried potatoes. Comforting, warm, and very heavy.

Overall our visit too Carnation Cafe & Lounge was a pleasurable experience. Our server (Angel) was courteous and kind & professional. Food quality was great, my Wife liked her meatloaf sandwich and I had the Tolt burger which was delicious. However, I do not recommend the chips they were overcooked too burnt & to pay an extra $1.50 for not even a handful fries ontop of a $17 dollar meatloaf sandwich is too much. Beware, I also discovered a $1.50 take out charge for dessert we purchased to go. Un freaking believable! Will never buy dessert again for sure. Hope the owner reads this and makes changes.

Great local cafe serving a large variety of dishes all with a homestyle quality of cooking. Good service and plenty of seating. Nice bar area with a television and both tables and stools. Highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxed meal in a quality establishment.

The food was excellent and the outside seating is great in sunny weather. However what wasnt pleasant was hearing the kitchen staff talk crap about us. We apologize for not knowing about sundays early close time but next time talk where your not in earshot of the customers
